Marie Antoinette Canvas Swap

I was lucky enough to be part of an amazing swap hosted by the fabulous Maria at The Junkk Drawer. Now I've known Maria for some time now and she is one of my friends that has been working on the travel round robin book and we also did a Valentine round robin book together. She is such a wonderful gal and is one of my original blogging/swapping friends.

I've backed off from doing as many swaps because it seems that there are a lot of people out there that like to sign up for swaps and then seem to think it is a receive only swap. They mysteriously vanish from the face of the earth, never to be heard from again. Lately, I have only been doing swaps through the amazing Itty Bitty and Marie groups that I am a member of. But since this one was through Maria, I decided to give it a go. Plus, it involves Marie Antoinette, so naturally I was thrilled!

Below is the canvas that I created for my good friend Marlene from Queen Bee of Creativity. Now this gal is a wonderful soul and I am so glad that God has blessed me with her friendship. She is an amazing artists as well. Wait until you see the canvas that she created for me. Talk about an amazing piece of work.

I was thrilled that she liked this canvas, although I don't feel it is my best work. I was making it at the peak of my "funk/depression" and honestly feel kind of bad about it. But it put a smile on her face and that is really all that matters when it comes to my work. That is brings a little joy to the one who views it.

Have a fabulous week!
