Marie Antoinette Canvas Swap

I told you the canvas that Marlene made for me was incredible. I still stare at it in awe. My studio is now in the master bedroom upstairs, so it is attached to the master bath through the vanity area. There are two sinks and one is covered with a wooden tray that holds vintage jars full of goodies and an old type drawer displays tiny items that I have collected. On the opposite wall I recently made an area to hang my art. This is the center piece because I oh so love it. I really felt like Marlene put her heart and soul into this piece and made it so special just for me.

There are so many beautiful vintage pieces on this that I can't even count them all. One of my favorite things to search for in antique shops are vintage pieces like these. Love it!

And when I opened this lovely goody up, I began to cry. Marlene had found this and knew that it was meant to be mine. What a wonderful and thoughtful gift. It too is proudly displayed.

Marlene is now in the Marie Antoinette Mail Art Group with me so I am sure we will be doing another swap together at some point. The best part is that she is now my friend which is another reason that I love to blog and swap!

Have a great day!
