Distress Paints, Brown Bags and Tags

I am obsessed with the Distress Paints by Tim Holtz. They are so fun to play with and I often combine them with the Distress Stains as well.  As always, the wonderful Leslie, aka the Queen of Alpha Stamps, sent me some wonderful goodies to play with. I LOVE this new Opera Silhouettes Collage Sheet and the fact that I can play with the size and direction of an image. And so my Brown Bag Tag Book was born.

I had watched a tutorial by Tim Holtz on using these paints and they were really cool to play with.  You can view his tutorial here:

I think that the many colors of seam binding from Alpha Stamps made my tag book look yummy.  I simply put all of my cut pieces in a cup of water, wadded them up and ironed them until dry to make them all crinkly.

These heavy weight Brown Bag Kraft Pockets are new to Alpha Stamps as well and the scalloped edge really jazzes them up.

Wow! Ad you got your paints to blend so nicely (I would die for a tutorial on how you did that, mine just don't blend well). Absolutely love these!
