Masquerade Mask Swap

I can't believe I have not posted this yet. I had uploaded the pictures for it a while ago and completely forgot to write it up and publish it. This is the first mask that I have ever made and I am so proud of how it turned out. Best of all, my partner, the brilliant Debi from Life In My Studio, loved it as well. To see the gorgeous mask and gloves that she made for me, visit her here:

Marie Masquerade Ball Mask

Thank you again for your beautiful work Debi! I have my mask displayed in my studio for constant inspiration!

Below is the mask that I made for Debi. I feel so blessed to be in my Marie group. I have learned how to do so many new things. I am in the process of finishing up the first crown I have ever made for another swap. You won't learn if you don't try!

Be sure to try something new today!

It's beautiful. I always love seeing masks - it reminds me of home :) How do these "swaps" work anyway? I am new at the blogging world...
