Pretty Your Pumpkin Party

Today is Jen's Pretty Your Pumpkin Party. Jen's home is over at her amazing blog, Sanctuary Arts at Home. You won't regret checking her out and thanks so much for having me Jen!

I decided to share my mantle. It began as a host for my black cat collection, but has grown to have a "Halloween" theme. My mantle has only hosted Christmas before, so this is a first, and I really like it! The best part is that many of the items on it are from people I know and love!

Notice my amazing tussie mussie! It's from my good friend Jules over at Whimsical Notions!

The tiny cat with the orange hat is a vintage find as well as the black cat below it that holds envelopes, paper, etc. I would love to find more like these. Who knows, maybe my collection will be even larger next year.

That wonderful tin with the witch is from Sherry at Esprit d*Art for our friend Marilyn from Unshelved Words seasonal tin swap. I got it in the mail the other day, and I love it! Thank you so much Sherry!

The cat hanging on the Eiffel tower was purchased by the talented Betzie Smith. As soon as I saw it on her amazing blog, I had to have it!

This wonderful beauty is from a new friend, Gloria over at Les Arts By Gloria. We did a Wicked Witch Switch swap over at Bella Enchanted. Gloria sent me the most wonderful box of goodies (post coming soon) including this handmade All Hallow's Eve, with my favorite, a black cat!

And some of you wondered why I love to do swaps so much. As you can see by my mantle, it is a wonderful reason to do swaps and learn about all of the amazing artists in this community.
I hope that you have enjoyed my mantle and I will be posting pics of the rest of my Halloween decor soon!
Have a wickedly wonderful day!

Well, your Halloween mantle might be a first for you, but it looks so good, I think that mantle will probably see Valentine's day and Fourth of July too.

This party was a hoot, wasn't it? I loved visiting all these sites. I'll be back.
