My Beautiful Christmas Cracker From Sherry

Thanks to my friend Val at Wanderlust & Pixiedust http://wanderlustnpixiedust.typepad.com/, I was introduced to my now, very good friend, Carolyn. Carolyn was hosting a Christmas Cracker Swap on her blog http://www.magpie-pixie.blogspot.com/ and let me join in the festivities. I really had to do some research on how to put this thing together for my swap buddy, Sherry. I reached my goal, because I made her happy and that is a very important thing we all need to try to do, especially in the world today.

So now, I have new friends in my life that have really made a difference in my life and I hope to have more to come. Above is my first slide show. It shows the beautiful Christmas Cracker that my friend Sherry made for me. She is very talented, and you should really check out her blogs and her Etsy store http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5343810. I promise you she will have a huge impact on your life and in my opinion she is an Angel from God. http://www.espritdart.blogspot.com/

I was so excited when I got my Cracker and I love each of the goodies inside. She included lots of yummy treats, some lip balm, which if you know me is hysterical. I can never have enough and have it literally all over my home so that it is in my reach at all times.

She included some wonderful embellishments, which is something I can never have enough of, being the crafter that I am. The Christmas bell is so cute, and I plan on keeping it out even after the Holidays are over. It puts a smile on my face.

Sherry is very thoughtful and she put a precious charm bracelet into my cracker. If you have read my previous blogs, you will know that this is something that I am passionate about. I love charm bracelets and to have one from Sherry adds to my wonderful, memorable collection.

When I opened Sherry's card, I felt so special. It was so wonderful to have a hand written note from the person that I know so much about. Her cards are beautiful and I especially like the glittery stars on the front of it. I have this thing for glitter right now, thanks to Val. Just can't get enough and you can get some too at http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5195641

So, thank you so much Sherry for my amazing Christmas Cracker! I hope that this is just a start for our new friendship and I hope to get to know you even more. Thank you Val for introducing me to Carolyn for my first swap. If anyone out there is having a swap, I would love to partake so type me a note.

Most of all, thank you to Carolyn who created this wonderful event that has truly impacted my life for the positive. I am so glad that you decided to do this swap because it gave me the great gift of your friendship. I just know we will meet one day and John won't know what to do with both of us in the same room (ha ha ha inside joke).

I hope that you enjoy my first slide show and please, please, please leave me a comment. Thanks and Happy Holidays!
