May you have all of God's many blessings and the best New Year's ever!

Wow! This year has flown by. True, we have all had ups and downs, but all in all it has been a great year. I have made many great friends this year and am happy to start 2008 with you all. May this new year bring you every happiness, loads of love, good health, and all of God's many blessings!
That is all I will say, because in all honesty I really don't like New Years Eve because I feel like I am going to have an anxiety attack. It is really weird, but I really like to just treat this as any other night. But for those of you who like to go all out, have a safe and happy one for me!

This is my latest Eiffel Tower creation. I am really proud of it because it is the first wall hanging I have made. I listed it in my Etsy shop and hope that it finds a happy home. I will have to make another one for myself if I do sell it, but it gives me so much satisfaction when someone loves something that I created with my own hands.
I love this image of the Eiffel Tower. I embossed it onto a page from a ledger I was lucky enough to find.
As you can see above, the ledger is from 1875. That just blows my mind. I love the hand writing from that time period. It is just so beautiful. It is like other things old that I have, I think about who once held it, what type of clothes they were wearing and the sites around them.

This ledger is huge and weighs a ton. The leather on the sides is coming off, but for something that is over 100 years old, it is in excellent shape. I am only using the pages that were coming out. I don't think I have the heart to actually rip pages out of it. I feel like I am disrespecting it in some way. Hope you enjoyed my pics!

They are calling for snow tomorrow and in all honesty, I hope that we get a ton. I want my girls to have one good snow to play in and experience this year. I love the stillness and the air after a good snow. Most of the time when snow is in the forecast, it never happens. Hard to predict the weather when you live in a valley.

Have a Happy New Year, and I hope to "see" you all in 2008! I have to go and start getting ready for Carolyn's Oscar Party!

God Bless!
