A Wonderful Gift

Wow!  I haven't posted for a while!  Now that I am feeling better, I have oddly been pleased to resume my duties as maid, taxi driver, homework enforcer, nurse, laundry keeper and pet walker. My Mom also had knee replacement surgery and is seems to be getting better.  What a crazy life, but a very blessed one.  I am so fortunate and thank God every single day.

Another thing that I am blessed with is great friends.  Lots and lots of caring and giving friends.  Imagine this... you're laying in a hospital bed after major surgery.  You hurt like you know what, on a liquid diet and have a dreaded catheter.  You're also slightly drugged on pain killers and don't feel like doing a thing.  Just when you are ready to break down and cry, your husband walks in with loads of mail for you.  Talk about perfect timing!

My wonderful friends from the Maire Antoinette Group I am in had put together a great surprise for me.  My friend Terri put together a front and back cover for a tag book of get well wishes.  Oddly, that was the first package I opened.  Next came many, many more containing tags for my book and other goodies to cheer me up.  I was so incredible touched and tears came to my eyes.  How blessed am I to have such caring friends in my life.  I finally put my book together and just had to share it with you all.

Words could never thank you all enough for your care and love during my recovery.  I will always treasure this tag book.  It is just beautiful and so many nurses and friends have commented on it.  It made me feel so loved and special.  Thank you my dear friends and God Bless!

Oh Rhonda, It was such a pleasure to have made this for you. We all love you so much and were so worried. I am so happy that you are feeling better, even if it means getting back to doing all the things you do. Oh what beautiful tags you received, that is such a beautiful keepsake and I know how much you love little books. I know that all of us put our love for you in each tag. Thanks for being such a wonderful friend. Love and Hugs, Terri
