Cassi's Creations Design Team Art

Here is my latest piece of art work designed from images by Cassandra at Cassi's Creations. I love these darker Marie images that she created and already have an idea in my head for another one from this sheet entitled Rosey Marie 2.




This one will be proudly displayed in my studio. I used some vintage sheet music and trims to accent the beauty of this Marie.

I attached leaves from a trim that I had found some time ago as well as some feathers for her top hat.

I have really been addicted to paper layering lately and have designed several things using this technique. The great thing about Cassandra's collage sheets is that they are digital. Therefore you can print them as many times as you like to use in more then one piece of art (but not to resell, of course). I printed this image five times so that I could go crazy with my layering. On the top most copy, I accented Marie's dress with a product that I recently purchased at my local scrapbook store called Smooch Pearlized Accent Ink. It looks like it belongs on my bathroom counter with my nail polish, and have to remind my girls that this is not the case at all. I really love this stuff and have it in gold and pearl. My plan is to stop by the store again and see if there are other colors to collect.

I love it when blogger posts my pictures sideways, not! This is just to show you an up close of my trims. I added the gold trim first, which is the same as the top, with the black trim added over the gold trims tassels.
