Marie Antoinette Birthday Soiree

Today is a birthday celebration at Cupids Charm for Marie Antoinette. Be sure to pay her a visit to not only see her beautiful blog, but to see links for others who are joining in on the fun.

I love items with Marie Antoinette, or MA inspired images. I decided to share a few of the things that I have made with just that.

This was just some quality "me time" in the studio the other night. I like using these little coat hangers and love this stamp image by Character Constructions.

When I think of MA, I think of things as being WAY over the top. It is reflected in the things that I make.

I used these little framed letters to say "Marie".

And it couldn't be MA without some major bling. This is a vintage earring that seemed to fit in her hands perfectly.

This is my page for The Itty Bitty Marie Book through Follow Your Bliss.

This is the back of the page. You can read more about this group on my post below.

Some tags that I sold from my Etsy shop with a stamped image by Stampington & Co.

I will be listing the set above and below in my shop soon.

This is one of my favorite rubber stamps. I stamped the image twice, once on vintage music and then again on card stock scallops so that her face showed up better on the tag. And what is a tag without loads of vintage seam binding. Pink and brown is my favorite color combination.

So go and visit some others now so you can be inspired to create some of your own Marie Antoinette art. And thanks to Cupids Charm for hosting this amazing Soiree!
