Happy Birthday To The Most Amazing Lady I Know!

Today is such a special day for today is my Mom's birthday. This birthday is extra special, because it is the start of a new year that will hopefully be cancer free. The past year had it's challenges, but they were challenges that brought us together as a family even more so, made us stronger, and helped us to learn how valuable early detection is. But enough about that.

I can't even put into words how much I love my Mom. I can't put into words how close we are and how much she means to me. She is my best friend and has always been there for me, no matter how much of a brat I was. There was never a time that I couldn't go to her for ANYTHING, and I mean anything. I can only hope that one day my own daughter's and I will share this same love and be as close when they are in their adult years.

I love hanging out with my mom. We laugh, we cry and we just have fun. We have so much in common and a day with her is like a day at the spa. I just feel so much better afterwards.

My Mom has helped to make me into the person that I am today as well as the mother that I am today. I know that the love that I share with my girls, and the quality time we spend together is the same love and time my mom spent with me as a girl.

And then you have my Mom as the amazing Grandmother. The girls adore her and love to spend time with her. They get so excited when they know they are going to Grandma and Grandpa's house for the day. My parents are so dedicated to those girls and I could never ask for better because I know we have the best. Not to mention all of the help and support that they both give to us. I could never thank them enough!

So here is to my Mom on her... wow... 71st Birthday! You amaze me Mom and I love you so much. I am so proud of you for all of your strength, courage and love that you give to us all. I look forward to this new year of life and all of the adventures we will have together. And I hope this new year is your best ever, with all of the love and blessings that you deserve.

"Happy Birthday Gram-ma! She's fun and she has a pink bed for me and she is my best friend in the whole wide world". Love, S

"Happy Birthday to you Gram-ma! I love you! You are the best! I love you so much. I love you because you and me love purple. I love the color purple. I really want to wish you a Happy Birthday. I love to play with you. I love you very much". Love, A

Have a wonderful day Mom and I can't wait to see you to celebrate this wonderful day!

Thank you to all of those who have been so wonderful to my Mom. Please feel free to leave her a birthday message on this post and I will share them all with her. Have a great day!
