Packaging Your Product

I will say it again, having my etsy shop and my blog have really changed my life for the better. I enjoy it so much, I find joy when someone likes something I have to sell, and I have made some amazing friends.

When I first started my shop, I thought to myself, "Oh, I'm not going to take the time to package things so nicely." But you know what? It adds so much to what my customer is getting, and it is just another added joy in what I do.

I have become obsessed with Vista Print (not to advertise for them, but if they see this and want to give me some more goodies then I will gladly accept). I have figured out how to make my own design, and have replaced all of my previous orders with my new red toile image. I just love it. Business cards, notes to write on, thank you notes, and the list goes on and on. You don't necessarily need to use their product for it's intended use.

I have FINALLY shipped out my OWOH items to my winners Jan and Maggie. I am so proud of their finished look.

These are Jan's monogrammed cards and I just love the way they look all packaged up.

These are Maggie's bird tags. I have sold several sets of these in my etsy shop, but I love the way they look all packaged up. I feel like I have a real product. I guess I do. LOL

I am now finding that I need to get more baggies to place my items in. I think I will try some new sizes out as well.

I have always loved toile. I am just thrilled with my packaging items with my name and toile design. Some even have a tiny Eiffel Tower on them. Yippee!

This is one of my old designs but I still really like it. It took me a long time to figure out how to use Vista Print's site, but now I have it all figured out. It was so worth the time that I put into it. Now, when I need something, I just go right in and click here and there and done!

These are just some other packages that I really liked the appearance of when I was done with them.

I hope that you have enjoyed this peak about all of the things you can do for your shop on VP. I just got another shipment at my door while typing this up. This is one place where I know from experience that they really only charge for shipping. I'm scared they are going to call me to say they are "cutting me off".

Feel free to ask me for help and have a great day!

Last week I had snow, now it is 70 degrees and the storms and winds are heading our way. Cross your fingers that the rest of my neighbor's tree doesn't fall on my house. I hope they cut it down soon.

Hi Rhonda,
I love your caption for my blog's April contest!!! Your mom was blessed with a very talented daughter. I just added your link to my blog. I thought that I had it on my favorites. I'm blushing that I didn't. It's there now!
Blessings,
Marilyn
